Already a problematic age in itself, adolescence today goes through a period particularly full of challenges. Young people, who often lack the reassuring models that once accompanied their growth, have to deal with a world where the virtual replaces the real, undermining their security and taking away the possibility of direct confrontation with the challenges of life; the recent pandemic has only increased this sense of uncertainty. The adolescents' response can then become dysfunctional, embodying itself in one

series of disorders that have a strong impact not only on their lives, but also on that of their families. Whether it is obsessive-compulsive disorders, eating disorders, behaviors linked to bullying or social phobia, addictions in various forms, up to the extreme case of suicide attempts, strategic therapy has developed a series of protocols "tailor-made for teenager" which have proven successful in accompanying young people and their families in these situations. After explaining the nature of the disorders and their manifestations, the authors present the cases through the speakership of the protagonists engaged in the therapeutic dialogue, in a path in which the adolescent is guided to find within himself the tools for his own healing.
