It was in the air, but the lockdown confronted us with a radical change.

To continue, at least in part, to carry out our activities, it was essential to transfer communication to the intangible roads of the web: zoom, skype and a thousand other platforms have allowed us to continue meeting, talking, seeing our faces, teaching, learning, making music, and many other things. And it works!

We can also communicate in this way, but it is undeniable that something changes, that the tools at our disposal are not the same. Eye contact is gone; the voice with its inflections takes much more importance; the image on the screen becomes an icon; physical contact is impossible.

In this book, the new forms of online communication are analyzed in all its aspects: instructions for the use of what will perhaps become an increasingly widespread form of communication.
